Brief

Rebranding a personal visual identity presents a unique challenge, requiring both objectivity and intentional self-reflection. Beyond creating a logomark, the goal was to define an original persona that authentically reflects years of industry experience, a personal design approach, and the confidence to stand apart in a competitive creative landscape. This identity needed to function as a professional foundation for freelance services while remaining flexible and expressive.

Challenge

How can a new visual identity translate professional growth, remain recognizable, and establish consistency across a personal brand?

Result

The identity centers on a monogram formed from the brand’s initials, using contrast to express versatility and balance between differing design sensibilities. The “R” features an open form and intentional use of negative space, symbolizing openness and adaptability across creative concepts. In contrast, the “C” is constructed from three angular forms, introducing structure and precision while reinforcing flexibility through its geometric execution.

Rather than mirroring the curves of the “R,” the “C” adopts straight edges to highlight contrast and range. Conceptually, it functions as a shadow, referencing a play on pronunciation derived from the surname Prudenciado. Its form also draws inspiration from a camera aperture — a subtle nod to photography as a foundational influence.

The logomark and supporting elements were formalized into a brand guideline, outlining ideation, usage, and application to ensure consistency, clarity, and immediate implementation for professional services.
